Onyx

Given an open slate to explore creatively, this project was an experiment into the blurring of the lines between art and design; form and function. Developed from a conversation around the mystery of the colour black, we developed a way to explore a daring abstract concept of ink. The images were commissioned for use in the promotion of an event by the same name, however these timeless designs live on well past their initial use.
